About Hernando Hideway

Our fully-renovated home is located on a rare half-acre lot with a boat dock, directly on a canal that feeds into the Gulf. We welcome up to 8 guests with 4 bedrooms, 3 full baths, and 2 half-baths. A sampling of our upscale amenities include a large screened and heated saltwater pool, poolside bar, firepit with two swings, screened patio with interchangeable games table, board games and yard games, beach cruisers, and kayaks. And most of all, gorgeous views of the canal and swaying palm trees.

Hernando Beach is a boater’s paradise, offering a small-town, family-friendly ambiance. Many people also visit for scalloping season. Whatever your reason, we look forward to welcoming you to our favorite place, Hernando Hideaway!

When we started searching for a property, we wanted a coastal area that offered a small-town, welcoming feel. We knew immediately Hernando Beach was the place for us! We especially love the local seafood restaurants with their super-fresh offerings!

It took us nearly a year to fully renovate Hernando Hideaway, but to us, it was worth it! We have created the home of our dreams and we hope your family loves it as much as we do.

Hernando Hideaway provided a luxurious retreat for our family! This home is spacious, well-equipped and tastefully designed. The layout allowed us to have a group and private time. We felt welcomed by the owner's careful attention to small details such as hospitality items in all the restrooms. The neighborhood location was perfect for kayaking, bike riding and visiting local restaurants. I highly recommend the Hernando Hideaway for your next vacation rental.

Josie and Joe have done a great job remodeling and making their home a great place for a Airbnb rental. The house was very clean, just remodeled, tastefully furnished and remodeled and all things were functioning great. There were so many things to do in the house both inside and out. We have been using home rental sites for years and this home has by far the most activities for different ages: from table games, to pool toys, to yard games, to a nicely heated pool. We travelled with our 8, 5, and 3 year old, and they just loved it. The home is within 12 min (peaceful ride) to the Weeki Wachee Springs, the Hospital Hole, and many other natural attractions as well as countless boating and kayak rental places. Great peaceful location but easy access to attractions. Another plus was the hosts were phenomenal. Super responsive and professional. Thank you again to them for giving our family a Top notch experience for sure. The boys had a great time and we are leaving with great memories!
